Title: Hi there
Post by: ZXDunny on May 08, 2023, 03:39 PM
Saw this on the FB group and finally decided to join as quite a few of my friends seem to be here.
I'm not much for FB, so I'll likely not post much - and I'm pretty sure you don't want me to flood the place with SpecBAS stuff :)

So good day to you all!

I am also 'not much for FB' and have only tinkered with ZX decades ago. Regardless, ZX is still very much retro. Do you still use a ZX machine or do you use an emulator. If the latter, which one, may I ask?

Where are my manners?  Welcome to the Forum!! Enjoy your stay!

Hey Charlie :) Great to see you too, I notice a shedload of BAM on here so it's gonna be fun!

Well, I wrote my own emulator (ZXSpin) many years ago and still use that - do have real hardware however.

SpecBAS is my baby these days - a rewrite/update of Sinclair BASIC on Windows PCs. It's been in development since about 2010 :)

Hello ZXDunny!

Welcome Aboard and it's quite alright to post code of "non-FB" basic or Other Programming Languages :)

and it's alright to be "not so much for FB" here :)

oho! You might regret that soon :D :D :D

Seriously though, thanks guys. I do like places that are BASIC oriented and not based on Facebook.
